Us
What
do you get when you mix a 1980's teenager with a 21st Century
teacher? Area 51 & 1/2! All the things we
have
collected over the years started taking over our lives, so we
figured--shouldn't we share these wonderful things with others?
"Daffy"
As
an engineer at heart, I have spent most of my life taking things
apart to see how they work--and then. . . Lego came along!
I've
been building legos all my life and now its time to share all of my art
and toys with you!! I am an active artist and tinkerer that
believes that there is art in everything, not just pencils,
that's
easy!! This is an expression of love and beauty I see in average
everyday things, Enjoy!!
"The Brain"
As a teacher, exotic animal
rescuer and self-taught computer
geek, I see the
unusual every day. I create usually with pen and ink in my writing,
sewing for my animals and friends, cage building, crocheting
and beading jewelry. I love my job as a teacher, and
strive to let my students know that nothing is
"normal"--and to embrace their diversity.
I have recently been honored to be added to the Cambridge Who's Who in
Professional American Women membership.
I was nominated for this honor by my peers. I have
also been in the Who's
Who in American Teachers for the last 4 years, nominated
by students each year.
